Gardening combines soil science and urban farming to cultivate a lasting love of gardening and a deeper appreciation for nature. Students get their hands dirty as they actively explore various aspects of gardening, including the parts of plants, the role of soil, the importance of water, and much more! This immersive approach helps students connect with the environment in a meaningful way. Each meticulously designed lesson thoughtfully allocates time for introducing new topics, conducting hands-on experiments, providing clear demonstrations, and implementing ideas through engaging educational games. Through these interactive and experiential lessons, students not only experiment and explore but also take the rewarding step of establishing their very own organic garden right within the classroom setting. This hands-on experience nurtures responsibility, curiosity, and a sense of accomplishment as they watch their plants grow over time.
