Description

Summer at Sinai Sports Campis a high-energy, multi-sport experience for rising Kindergarten through 5th graders, designed to keep young athletes active, engaged, and growing all summer long. Led by SAA’s exceptional coaching team, campers will build fundamental skills while playing and competing in basketball, volleyball, soccer, and flag football, all in a fun, supportive environment.

Coaches-in-Training (CIT) Program

Our Coaches-in-Training (CIT) Program is designed for rising 6th–8th graders who love sports and are ready to take the next step beyond being a player. Offered at a significantly discounted rate, this program provides a meaningful introduction to leadership, mentorship, and coaching.

CITs work alongside our professional coaching staff, supporting younger campers through drills, games, and daily activities. This hands-on leadership experience helps middle school students develop confidence, responsibility, and real-world skills, while still having fun and staying active.

Throughout the week, CITs will:

  • Work closely with head coaches and staff mentors

  • Deepen their understanding of sport-specific skills and strategy

  • Learn how to guide, encourage, and motivate younger campers

  • Develop strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Participate in leadership huddles and guided reflection

  • Join select camp activities and scrimmages

By the end of the program, CITs gain far more than volunteer experience, they leave with increased confidence, leadership skills, a stronger sense of responsibility, and pride in positively impacting younger athletes.

The CIT Program is ideal for students eager to bridge the gap between athlete and coach and grow as leaders both on and off the field.

Important Information

  • CIT spots are extremely limited.

  • Selection is made in collaboration with Coach Bryan Warner and Coach Denise Fernandez Reyes, based on academic standing, athletic involvement, and overall readiness for a leadership role.

We encourage interested students to apply early and thoughtfully, this is a special opportunity to lead, learn, and make a lasting impact within our camp community.
